BACKORDERS

Due to demand, some parts may be out of stock. Generally, you will be charged at the time of the original order and the missing item(s) will ship prepaid as soon as possible.  You may cancel a backorder at any time, unless already shipped.  If canceled, please allow 30 days for refund.

SHIPPING DAMAGE

Please open and inspect your order as soon as possible.  All of our shipments are insured and insurance claims can only be paid if certain conditions are met for the carrier. For these conditions to be met, you must return the original packaging, parts, box, and any other contents, regardless of whether it was damaged or not, to the carrier. In the event of a damaged item, it is essential that the shipment and its entire contents (box, packaging and parts) are kept together for inspection by the carrier.  Without it, claims will not be paid.  Call us immediately with the tracking number from the packing label in order to get the issue resolved in a timely manner.

MISSING PARTS

Please open and inspect your order as soon as possible.  Missing parts must be reported within five days of receiving your order.  If you find missing parts, please contact us immediately. 

RETURNS

Special order, NOS and electrical parts are non-refundable.  Other parts may be exchanged or returned for a refund less a 15% restocking fee. All returns must be complete, uninstalled, unused and in original packaging.  Please contact your original salesperson prior to return to arrange for a returned goods authorization (RGA) number.  All returns must include an RGA number and a copy of the original invoice.  All shipments must be properly packaged, insured and shipped prepaid. Refunds will not be issued for merchandise damaged in transit. Please allow up to 30 days to process all refunds. Orders returned to us without an RGA will not be accepted.

WARRANTY

Classic Auto Air's Original Air Group warrants that the products are free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use, driving conditions and service for a period after the invoice date as follows:  Rebuilt parts – 90 days; new parts – 1 year; original systems – 1 year.RECONDITIONED CONDENDSERS AND EVAPORATORS: Because we cannot inspect the internal condition of evaporators & condensers during the reconditioning process, we can only guarantee that they are internally & externally clean, and are leak free at the time they leave our facility. If a condenser or evaporator that we reconditioned leaks within 90 days, Classic Auto Air will extend a warranty consisting only of credit toward the purchase of a new replacement for an identical or similar part. ALL WARRANTIES WILL BE VOID ON ANY PRODUCT SHIPPED WITH A SERIAL NUMBER IF STICKER IS REMOVED.  Our only obligation under this warranty is to repair or replace the defective part at our discretion. We are here to help! If you suspect a part is defective, call us immediately. If we determine the parts need to be returned for warranty evaluation, we will issue an RGA. All returns must be packaged properly and insured. We will not warranty merchandise that is damaged in transit due to improper packaging. Upon obtaining an RGA number, you may ship the parts back to us. Include a copy of the original invoice, write “WARRANTY” on the box, and call us to arrange the return of the products. We are not responsible for labor, loss of use, or any other incidental or consequential damages or expenses of any kind.  This warranty is void by misuse, alteration, improper installation, accident or neglect, including installation of any refrigerant or additive other than R12 or R134A.   THIS WARRANTY IS EXCLUSIVE AND IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, ORAL OR WRITTEN, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY AND USE FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

CORE CHARGE

Many rebuilt items carry a core-charge in addition to the price.  In many cases, your original part may still be salvageable, and eligible for a core refund upon return to us.  To receive a core refund, send the old part back at your expense with a copy of your invoice and we will refund the core charge you paid. *** Core returns must be the same as those purchased from Classic Auto Air's Original Air.  *** Not all core returns are eligible for core credit refund.  The part must be salvageable without damage or modifications. If you have any questions about your core, please contact us before returning it.
