Our Stage 1 A/C Performance Upgrade Kit is the essential solution if you are looking to replace your original compressor with an upgraded rotary style compressor.

INCLUDED: 

  • Rotary Compressor & Clutch Assembly
  • Compressor Adapter Bracket Set designed for use with the stock small block Chevy V8 compressor mounting bracket, located on passenger (right) side.
  • Suction Hose (from evaporator outlet to condenser inlet)
  • Discharge Hose (from compressor outlet to condenser inlet)
  • Accumulator
  • Cycling Switch
  • Evaporator mounted orifice tube
  • Refrigerant Tape
  • 134a Charge Port Adapter
  • O-ring/Oil Tube Kit

  • Affordable alternative to replacing individual parts.
  • Eliminates seizing, knocking and shaft seal leak problems associated with the stock R4 "pancake" compressor.
  • Simplifies conversion from the old R12 to newer 134a. (For more information on converting to 134a, click here.)

  • Reduce weight.
  • Continuous duty rating of 6,000 RPM.

NOTE:

*1990 is a mixed year from the factory. if your vehicle has ALL of the following, this kit will work: Orifice tube installed in the lower tube of the EVAPORATOR, discharge hose fitting at the condenser is MALE (threads on outside).
